Musings of An Urban Ninja

It's February, folks, meaning that as of today, the Ono Sticker Card set is officially on sale at the TUG store! Click here to see Ono's debut in all its magnificent glory.

(Um, of course, my own Hiro cards are way cuter than his. Right? RIGHT?!!!)

And to commemorate the release, the good folks over at TUG has come up with a mini-comic strip especially for the occassion.

PS Note that I did not have any say in the outcome of the strip or I would never have consented to the ending!

PPS Now that I think about it, I did not get my own comic strip when my own cards came out and I happen to be the official mascot. Do you think it's a sign that I should start shopping for a new agent?

Unequalled Magazine featured Part 1 of a Q&A with Tactical Urban Gears over at their site today and boy are we excited!

For those of you who want to know the inspiration behind the label, what you can expect to see in our stores soon, the fit of our shirts, etc., head on over there now.

And of course, no interview is complete without a discussion about moi and possibly that cat character whom I shall not name.

(Is it funny to spike homemade cookies with laxative so that I would have to go to the toilet all day, I ask you? IS IT???? I think not. One of these days, that cat will have what is due coming to him. GRRRRR!)

Anyway, there's mention of me in the interview and you may just get to find out all kinds of fun facts about me like what I would do if I had a million dollars, how do I avoid visible panty, er, I mean, underwear line and also possibly what color underwear I like.

Um, OK. Maybe not.

But the point is that there are all kinds of details about TUG that you probably won't find anywhere else.

Oh, and if you do make it to the end of the Q&A, there's also the little matter of a discount code for TUG merchandize.

Part 2 will be published the following day so stay tuned!

ETA You can now read part 2 of the interview here.

Happy 2010!

So 2009 has been an amazing year for me and for TUG, and I'm not saying that just because TUG adopted me as their mascot and put my face on their shirts. I've had opportunities I've only dreamed of until now and got to meet a whole bunch of amazing people, from the wonderfully talented to the downright bizarre.

Anyway, 2010 is going to be really exciting for us. We've got a lot of things lined up that will be unveiled as the year progresses.

To start off the new year on a cheery note, I'm happy to announce that we have a new festive wallpaper up on our main site.

Simply click here to download.

And look who will be joining us on the shopfront this February.

(Okay, so I am not going to pretend that I am pleased with the competition because chicks tend to dig Ono. This is so going to put a damper on my contract negotiations when it comes up for renewal next year but shhhh ... don't tell the guys at TUG.)

We've also added a new Press page so that you can read about what people are saying about us.

Like I was saying these are exciting times!

I hope that you'll stay tuned and share this journey with us.

So here's a toast to 2010 and to bigger and better things to come.

Hello my name is Hiro and welcome to my blog. I am a ninja-in-training who decided to hop on the bandwagon and record my random musings in a public forum.

Here, you'll find me hanging out with some of the people I've met, geeking out over some of my favorite things and just talking about my day in general. Oh, and since I am the official mascot of t-shirt label Tactical Urban Gears(T-U-G), I'll also be filling you in on what's going down with them from time to time.

To view their merchandise - most of which features yours truly and my badass sidekick cat, Ono - please click over to Tactical Urban Gears' official website at www.t-u-g.com. Thanks for reading this and I hope you enjoy your visit.
